Black Friday is the single biggest revenue window most med spas will see all year, and most of them walk into it with a front desk team running on caffeine, a spreadsheet of "should follow up" leads, and zero plan for the 40% of bookings that will no show. The spas that print money during this window are not the ones with the loudest ads. They are the ones with quiet, boring automations running in the background, recovering bookings, answering questions at 11pm, and turning one consult into three treatments.

If you run a med spa and you do not have these five workflows live by mid October, you are leaving a comma in your bank account on the floor. Here is what to build, and why each one pays for itself in a single weekend.

1. The Recall and Rebook Engine

Your treatment data already knows when a Botox client is due, when a filler client is approaching the six month mark, and which laser packages have one session left. The problem is that knowledge is sitting in your booking system doing nothing. A recall engine pulls that data daily and triggers personalized outreach at the exact moment a client is most likely to rebook.

The smart version of this is not a mass blast. It is a sequence: a soft "checking in" text three weeks before they are due, a "we saved you a spot" message the week of, and an "offer expires Friday" nudge if they have not booked. Each step pulls from their actual treatment history so the message reads like it came from their provider, not a bot.

Med spas running a real recall engine see 20 to 40% lift in repeat bookings inside 90 days. The math is simple: you are not finding new customers, you are finishing the job with the ones who already trust you.

2. No Show Recovery That Actually Works

The industry average no show rate on med spa consults is somewhere between 25 and 40%. That is not a scheduling problem, that is an attention problem. People book at 10pm, forget by Tuesday, and by Saturday the slot is dead.

The automation here has three layers. A confirmation sequence that requires a one tap response 48 hours out. A reschedule path that triggers the second someone signals they cannot make it (instead of letting the slot rot). And a same day recovery flow that immediately reaches out to your waitlist when a slot opens, with a small incentive to come in inside the next 4 hours.

Done right, this turns a 30% no show rate into a 12% no show rate, and most of those 12% get backfilled. For a spa doing 200 consults a month, that is 30 extra revenue conversations you were not having before.

3. The Before and After Content Pipeline

Every single treatment your team does is a piece of marketing content waiting to be born. Most spas capture maybe 5% of it because asking, getting consent, editing, watermarking, and posting is too much friction for a busy provider. An automated content pipeline handles every step after the photo is taken.

The flow looks like this: provider snaps the before and after on a tablet, an automation routes it for consent confirmation (with the right legal language for your state), AI cleans up lighting and crops it consistently, your branding gets applied, and the post drops into a queue for review. Your social manager (or you) just approves, does not produce.

Spas that automate this end up with 3 to 5 times more usable content per month without adding a single hour of work to their providers. That content is what fills your Black Friday ads, your retargeting, and your organic feed during the buying window.

4. Review Capture and Response

Google reviews are the single most undervalued asset in a med spa's marketing stack. They show up in local search, they show up in maps, and they are the last thing a prospect reads before they book. The spas with 400+ reviews are not lucky. They asked, every time, at the right moment.

The automation: after every completed treatment, an AI personalized review request goes out (timed to the moment of peak satisfaction, usually 2 to 4 hours post treatment, not three days later when the swelling is happening). Five star reviews trigger a thank you. Anything four or below routes to your manager privately so issues get handled before they hit Google.

Layer in AI generated review responses that your manager can approve in one click, and you have a system that turns reviews into a daily habit instead of a quarterly panic.

5. Financing Follow Up Without the Awkwardness

Here is the truth nobody talks about: a huge chunk of the consults you run end with "I want to think about it" and the real reason is they have not figured out how they are going to pay. Then they go home, life happens, and you never hear from them again.

A financing follow up automation does the awkward conversation for you. Within an hour of the consult, a personalized message goes out with the three or four financing options you offer, the monthly payment math already calculated for their specific treatment plan, and a one click application link. No phone tag, no second appointment required.

For Black Friday specifically, layer in a "lock your price now, treat in January" flow. People are emotional buyers in November. They will commit to a package on Black Friday and happily come in six weeks later. Capture that intent.

The Black Friday Lead Funnel Itself

Stack the five automations above with one more layer for the holiday window: a dedicated funnel that captures interest a week before Black Friday, nurtures it with daily preview content, and unlocks pricing at midnight on Thanksgiving. Spas that build this funnel routinely do 30 to 60% of their entire Q4 revenue inside 72 hours.

The trick is the funnel needs to be live by November 1st at the latest. Building this on Thanksgiving morning does not work. Building it in mid October does.
